Bryan-College Station Area
Brazos County is located in the middle of several metropolitan areas, within 2 hours driving time of Houston and Austin, and within 4 hours driving time of Dallas/Fort Worth and San Antonio. The 1990 Population of the Brazos County was 121,862 and the 2001 population was 151,660 (Source: U.S. Census Bureau). The towns of College Station and Bryan within its borders and Texas A&M University is located in the middle of the county. The Brazos River flows through the county and Lake Bryan is located in the northern part of the county.
