Application Checklist - Full Time Students

Full time applicants should follow the steps outlined below to submit an application to the English Language Institute. Students should apply as early as possible to secure admission. Applicants meeting Institute criteria are notified of admission and are then required to submit $5.000.00 in tuition and fees (includes $100 SEVIS fee) before an I-20 form for visa application is issued.

  1. Complete the application form.

  2. Provide a non-refundable application fee in the form of a $50 USD International Money Order or Wire Transfer:.

    An application will not be evaluated until an application fee is received.

  3. Provide two passport-size photographs with applicant's name printed in ink on the back.

  4. Provide a copy of applicant's passport.

  5. Provide an official bank letter that displays funds available for study.

  6. Complete and official records (transcripts) of all high school and college academic work.

    These records may be copies that have been notarized. They must be in English.

  7. Provide a copy of applicant's TOEFL scores, or if applicant has not taken the test, complete a writing sample.

  8. If applicant wants to bring dependents (spouse and/or children), provide sufficient funds and a valid passport for each individual.

    This must happen before an I-20 can be sent.

  9. Send all materials to the ELI mailing address, which is listed below.

    Part Time Applicants

    Part Time Applicants only need to complete the first page of the application and submit the $50.00 application fee. Part time applicants do NOT need to complete the application checklist above or the second page of the application.
